What it means to be a leader...

The first event that taught me about leadership is when i became a big sister. It was a crazy day because i remember wanting a baby sister. We had to stay with my unlce while my mom was at the hospital with my daddy. later that day my mom came home but i was so happy because i had to be more responsible and be a good role model. This was a really positive experience and i still struggle today with being a good role model to my little sister.

The second event that taught me about leadership is having just an overall great, loving family. My parents always tell me that they want the best for me even though they dont always act like it. They always encourage me and my goals and dreams. My brother and sister also inspire me to do better. They always say i have a lot of potential. This teaches me about leadership because i want to have someone proud of me and my success. This is a positive experience that i will cherish for the rest of my life.

The third event is graduating middle school. This event was a very important because its was something that most people dont achieve on the first try. it taught me the most about leadership. it taught me that if i can graduate middle school that i can do even better and succeed in high school. This would seem like a both positive and negative experience because i passed the 8th grade but im getting old too.
